Closing Reflections of the First Volume

This volume has finally come to an end. I didn't expect to write 370,000 words—it turned out to be quite a bit more than I had imagined.

Taking this opportunity at the end of the volume to chat a bit: I won't talk about the performance; it seems I can only just manage to scrape by with the attendance bonus. Because of my day job, striving for 4,000 words a day is already my limit. Sometimes I run out of time, and without points to redeem leave passes, I miss out on the full attendance bonus—I hate that!

The next volume should focus on the world of martial arts, with fewer court intrigues, which will hopefully be a bit more relaxed—well, probably. I haven't decided who will claim little Pei's first time yet; you all can take a guess. The Empress Dowager is likely out of the running, poor thing.

I tested the boundaries of the platform a bit over the last two days and found it's still at a kindergarten level—one report and you're in trouble. So, the main text will essentially steer clear of explicit details; I'll fill in what's missing when I have the time. I forgot to mention this before, but as per the usual rule, characters with detailed descriptions of their appearance will generally be included.

The current heroines are mostly these few; some character cards haven't been uploaded yet, but I'll add them once they have a significant enough role. The number of heroines might increase by one or two later on. Looking at it now, there are quite a few mature, sophisticated women...

Someone asked before how long this story will be; truthfully, I'm not sure. Maybe over a million words? Writing for the love of it is fine, but it mainly depends on the censors.

Oh, right—brothers, it’s best to use the error correction tool to point out typos. Otherwise, once enough time passes, the previous chapters get locked, and I lose the permission to edit them.
