Chapter Fifty: The Surge of Brahma Energy

At this moment, the completed Monna Blade took on an ancient and sinister aspect; its mottled rust resembled arcane curses, lingering resentments twisting fiercely, ready to devour anyone who approached.

Tu Zhe watched with calm indifference as the Divine Will battled the seed monster, his voice low and irrefutable: “Go.”

The Monna Blade instantly erupted in fury, slashing diagonally through the void, carving fissures as it swept suddenly toward the Divine Will.

Rip—

There was no thunderous collision, no explosion of energies. The Monna Blade merely brushed lightly across the Divine Will’s arm and severed it, as a teacher would strike out a student’s mistake—inevitably, unarguably, obliterating it.

It was a lofty, effortless stroke; a disdainful arrogance directed at the divine.

Who do you think you are, flaunting your power?

In my eyes, you’re nothing but a mistake!

A mistake! Do you understand?

Erasing you is only natural.

The Divine Will stared in astonishment as its severed arm flew away, dissolving into soul energy that the seed monster absorbed completely.

In that instant, the Divine Will felt the horrifying pollution and assimilation brought by the Monna Blade’s slash. All manner of agony, torment, the wails of life and death, and endless cycles of reincarnation seeped directly from the blade’s edge into the depths of its consciousness, eroding and destroying it.

Faced with such power, it found itself unable to resist.

Watching its body gradually dissolve into soul energy, the Divine Will roared in anger, struggling fiercely. Suddenly, it bellowed:

“Explode—”

The avatar formed by the Divine Will detonated with a deafening blast. In that moment, boundless soul energy flooded the entire soul space, threatening to shatter the skull, obliterate the spirit platform, and reduce Tu Zhe to nothingness.

At this critical juncture, the seed monster’s body transformed into a giant maw, vast enough to blot out the sky, encompassing everything, swallowing all the soul energy from the Divine Will’s self-destruction.

Tu Zhe watched unblinkingly, his will as steadfast as stone, without fear, calm as a mountain.

Now, he was the master of this world: what he decreed to be destroyed could not exist; what he commanded to be distant could not harm him.

The seed monster devoured the divine soul energy, instantly transforming into a plump golden seed, which flew back into the repository of Alaya Consciousness, floating amidst the chaotic mist, swelling and contracting as if transporting or digesting and absorbing.

Tu Zhe watched the seed’s writhing in silence, observing its transformation.

Several breaths later, the seed suddenly burst forth with dazzling golden light. Its shell cracked, and five-colored radiance shot out, the elements of earth, fire, water, and wind beginning to evolve a world.

The divine soul energy was converted by the seed into five-colored brilliance, enveloping the entire space of Alaya Consciousness.

In an instant, the walls of Alaya Consciousness became studded with five-colored crystals, shining with a mesmerizing luster.

Infinite five-colored light was transformed into endless crystalline formations, forging the walls of Alaya Consciousness into a fortress, only stopping when the crystal layer had grown several yards thick.

Yet, the divine soul energy continued to generate, turning into pure five-colored energy, supplementing, nourishing, and filling Tu Zhe’s Alaya Consciousness.

Tu Zhe felt his soul expanding infinitely. No parallel space, overlapping dimension, folded realm, temporal vortex, cosmic black hole, star or nebula could impede the advance of his spiritual sense.

Wherever he looked, barriers dissolved before him;

Wherever he passed, earth, fire, water, and wind evolved in his wake.

It was the embryonic form of his spiritual domain. Though it had not yet become a complete world, had not raised clear air to form the heavens or sent turbid air below to become the earth, nor evolved sun, moon, stars, mountains, or rivers, it was a magnificent and profound beginning.

Tu Zhe sensed that if this spiritual domain were perfected, any creature or object entering—or forced into—it would live and die, come and go, rise and fall according to his will.

Damn, am I… a god now?

Just like that? I’ve acquired divine powers?

At this moment, without warning, the Brahma Crystal within his stomach—the king of divine treasures—suddenly stirred.

With a single thought, he saw the divine king rapidly melt, unleashing an immense surge of Brahma energy, flooding every cell of his body in an instant.

His cells crackled explosively, each one expanding, propping up its own space.

The swelling of billions of cells gave him the sensation of being torn apart inch by inch, strand by strand. He felt as if, in a flash, he had inflated into a demon god as large as a planet. Only by expanding faster than the Brahma energy could flood his limbs and every cell did the pain become somewhat bearable.

Thus, the Brahma energy from the divine king spilled forth like a relentless tide, surging within him endlessly.

Damn, won’t this kill me?

That’s the Brahma energy of a hundred and twenty small worlds—can I absorb it all?

Impossible!

I’m not ready yet!

No, no, stop, please—

Though Tu Zhe felt no fear, he was somewhat anxious. Who knew how much Brahma energy there was? Surely, his meager flesh couldn’t contain it all.

What should I do? What should I do? What should I do?

Suddenly, he saw the cracked shell of the seed in Alaya Consciousness opening and closing, soul energy already leaking out. Delighted, he tried guiding the Brahma energy toward Alaya Consciousness, and it worked.

He hastily channeled the Brahma energy, opening the repository of Alaya Consciousness. The surging Brahma energy rushed toward the seed’s shell.

The shell, like a giant maw, accepted all that came. Amid thunderous roaring, countless Brahma energy was sucked into the seed’s space.

Tu Zhe finally breathed a sigh of relief, watching quietly.

One day, two days, a hundred days, three thousand days…

The Brahma energy within the divine king seemed inexhaustible, continuing to pour into the seed day and night.

Tu Zhe sat quietly on the ground, lost in meditation.

He spent day and night pondering and familiarizing himself with the Monna Blade’s properties and usage, experiencing its boundless might.

Finally, he had a divine power to protect his life.

Outside the Lotus Heart, Demon Wave and Mou Xiu Lou Tuo guarded the main hall, never leaving Tu Zhe’s side.

A day passed.

Two days passed.

On the third day, Doggie came running in, wailing, “I want Rogue Brother, Rogue Brother, I don’t know them, they’re so creepy, hugging and kissing, biting too—Is this what you meant by aluminum-copper—?”

Demon Wave and Mou Xiu Lou Tuo exchanged wry smiles, feeling a surge of fury.

Their beloved Doggie no longer remembered the sisters she’d grown up with.

Mou Xiu Lou Tuo’s daughters hurried in, panicked, insisting, “It’s not that we failed to watch her, but Doggie used her powers against us, and we couldn’t use ours against her, so she ran back here…”

Doggie sobbed and screamed, “Go away, you lot, I want Rogue Brother, don’t be so creepy, okay? I don’t even know you! Sisters, cousins, is this how you claim kinship? Rogue Brother, I’m so miserable…”

Just as Doggie called out for Rogue Brother, a deafening boom resounded from the direction of the Lotus Heart’s treasure pool. Multicolored light flashed, thick mist parted, and out floated a young lord, radiant as starlight, hair like a waterfall, eyes shining, lips red, teeth white, healthy and handsome, a jade tree in the wind.

Doggie’s crying stopped abruptly, her mouth forming an O, stars sparkling in her eyes. Suddenly she shrieked and threw herself forward without a care.

“Rogue Brother—”
