Chapter One: The Wonders of Pandora and My Identity as a Leaf Village Ninja
Chapter One: The Ingenious Use of Pandora and I Am a Leaf Ninja
Shuster was utterly helpless in the face of the system's whims; even the system seemed to be acting spoiled now, and if this continued, it probably wouldn't give him anything for another twenty minutes. Approaching the group, who were still stunned, Shuster pulled out a pair of black goggles and slipped them over his eyes.
“Cough, cough~ Everyone, please snap out of it and look at what I’m holding. This is called an Electronic Bio-Mechanical Neural Resetter, Pandora’s Magic Box Transformation, brought to you by Men in Black 3. Its main function is to make people forget whatever the holder doesn’t want them to remember.” Shuster presented a pen-sized device as he addressed everyone.
*Click* “Ahem~ Everyone, the rat swarm here was just wiped out in a single move by an eighth-tier Mage Saint, causing the ground to sink. You’re all still alive thanks to that powerful individual. Now, half a day’s journey ahead lies Clear Breeze Town. I wish you a pleasant trip.” Pressing the device’s button, Shuster removed his black goggles, put the Electronic Bio-Mechanical Neural Resetter back into the infinite space, and bid farewell to the crowd. Of course, by now, no one recognized him.
“Oh~ Then, we’ll be off. Farewell, beautiful lady.” The man in black gave Shuster a courteous bow.
Watching the road ahead, the group cautiously drove their convoy across. “Strange, why do I feel like I’ve forgotten something?” Fiona remarked, following the convoy.
“Now that you mention it, I feel the same way,” Aiolia replied.
“Don’t speculate. Maybe that powerful person simply didn’t want us to know who they were and erased our memories,” Matthew said from the side.
“Hearing you say that, it makes some sense. But do you happen to know that beautiful lady?” Aiolia nodded thoughtfully, then asked Matthew.
“She’s probably a relative or disciple of that strong individual. Boss, stop thinking about her. We’re already far away.” Matthew replied helplessly.
“Heh heh~”

In the forest, Shuster wore a thoroughly embarrassed expression…
“System, where are you sending me this time?”
“Ding dong. If the next mission is forcibly transmitted, it will be to a random location. The host may provide three options. Would you like to view the list?”
“Go ahead, show me.”
A list appeared before his eyes:
A story of a delinquent boy with a machete, Soul Reaper;
A story of a boy dreaming of leadership, pulling his friends back, Leaf Ninja;
A story of people’s heroes fighting over expired canned food, Holy Grail War.
…Shuster looked conflicted as he stared at these three missions; all three involved fighting, spanning low, medium, and high martial worlds. But given Shuster’s current level, it hardly mattered.
“Fine, System, just randomize among these three.”
“Ding dong, randomizing… Ding dong, the next scenario will be: A story of a boy dreaming of leadership, pulling his friends back. Well then…”
“Ugh, looks like I’ll need to learn the improved Clone Technique and Energy Conversion after all.” Shuster took out two glittering scrolls.
“System, how do I use these?”
“Ding dong. Simply eat them.”
“…Could you repeat that?”
“Ding dong. Simply eat them.”
“Alright, have it your way. There’s no one around, so I’ll eat them!”
Taking a bite out of the Energy Conversion scroll, it transformed into golden light and entered Shuster’s mouth.
“Uwah~ My head hurts!” Shuster clutched his head and squatted on the ground.
His soul was forcibly implanted with new memories; not feeling pain would be unnatural.
“Hah~ hah~ so this is Energy Conversion?” After a while, Shuster recalled the details.
Energy Conversion: Allows the host to use the current energy to perform any other energy-based skill. Innate skills excluded.
“Next is this one.” Shuster took a bite of the improved Clone Technique scroll.
“Uwah~” The fake girl clutched his head and let out a seductive moan.
“Hah~ hah~ so the improved version removes the hand seals and reduces chakra usage. Let’s try it.” Shuster picked up the Heaven’s Spark and pressed it to his temple. No need to worry—his demonic body allowed for limb regeneration and lacked vital spots. For details, see the protagonist of Prototype. To kill him completely, one must destroy his soul; physical attacks would merely exhaust him. This constitution lets him play dead and counterattack, making it the perfect tool for travel, murder, and arson.
*Bang* A half-shattered wooden pillar fell to the ground after the shot.
“Whoa~ Not bad! Another killer move added! Clone Technique upgraded to a hand seal-free Shadow Clone Jutsu, with adjustable clone strength. Body Flicker now uses less chakra and increases movement range. Truly worthy of an S-class mission reward!”
“Ding dong. The time has come. Would the host like to use soul crystals to set an identity? You currently have 13,265,149 soul crystals—most earned from the rat swarm. You’ll get more in the future. I won’t list the black ones; just exchange them freely, even if you overdraw.”
“Wow! Such an overpowered function. Let me think—make me a member of the Hatake clan.”
“Ding dong. Consume 10,000 soul crystals. Confirm?”
“Confirm!”
In the next moment, a black hole sucked Shuster in.
---------------- I am the dividing line of crossing worlds ----------------
My name is Hatake Shuster, the second son of the Hatake family. I graduated from the ninja academy at age seven and became a Jonin at twelve. Now, I am a member of Hatake Kakashi’s team. Originally, Danzo of the elders tried to pull me into Root, but Kakashi brought me into his squad, arguing I was still young. The Third Hokage agreed, not wanting one of Konoha’s most promising young ninjas to be altered by the elders. There were also a few things I needed to remember as a ninja. This is the memory I acquired after crossing over.
Opening my eyes, I looked around. It was a rustic wooden house, and I was wearing a kimono-style sleeping robe. According to the vivid memories, this was my room in the Hatake house. Pushing open the door, I followed my memories into the main hall.
Before me stood a man with silver, spiky hair, his face masked by a covering that hid eighty percent of it, one eye concealed by his forehead protector. He wore a tight black suit, a green Konoha vest over it, and held a pink-covered book with some indecent illustrations.
His identity was unmistakable—Hatake Kakashi. Kakashi: “Hey! That’s me.”
“Brother~ What are you reading?” Shuster walked over and asked, as memory dictated.
“Oh~ Shuster, you’re up. Come and eat.” Kakashi hid the book at lightning speed, assuming the posture of a respectable elder. He had to present a proper image before his younger brother.
“Do you have any missions today, brother?” Shuster knelt respectfully, as custom required. Damn traditions, I hate kneeling.
“No, today’s the day for new graduates to be assigned to teams. Our squad’s being disbanded, and we’re to become teachers. But don’t worry, we won’t be separated. I’ve already got approval from the Third.” Kakashi smiled. When did Kakashi become so protective? Maybe after reading Make-Out Paradise, he fantasizes about Shuster’s face every night and does weird things? Nonsense…
“Oh~ Still together with brother. I’m full now. I’m going out for a walk. Bye, brother.” Shuster donned his battle gear, tied the Konoha forehead protector to his right arm, made a classic Dante farewell gesture, and stepped out the door.
