The story continues:
“You mean this? I heard that this year, apart from the leaders of the four factions, our school hasn’t welcomed any new experts. Other schools, on the other hand, reportedly have several peak-level sixes, with one foot already stepping into the seventh. If you can’t compete, we’re bound to lose! Thankfully, you’ll recover in a month!” Catherine patted her ample assets, their undulating waves attracting a gaze sharp enough to pierce a planet…
Sakuya stared intently at Catherine’s turbulent expanse. That’s got to be against the rules! Definitely a violation! Could she be an E-cup already?
“Hm? Why are you staring at me like that, Sakuya?” Catherine noticed the intense gaze and asked curiously.
“Huh? It’s nothing,” Sakuya quickly averted her eyes.
“All right, Sakuya, come with me to the library,” Shuster said to Sakuya.
“Yes, young master.” Sakuya helped Shuster up and supported him out the door.
As they opened the door, a sea of people greeted them.
“You all…” Shuster was speechless. He was still quite weak, and such a crowd was more than he could handle.
“Miss Shuster, may I have the honor of—ow!” A rather handsome young man had just stepped forward when he was kicked away mid-sentence by someone else.
“Miss Shuster, may I—ah!” The one who kicked him stepped up, only to be sent flying himself before he could finish.
“What do you intend to do to my young master?” Sakuya instantly shielded Shuster, releasing her aura.
In an instant, the crowd collapsed like dominoes, kneeling to the ground.
“Young master, it’s all right now.” Sakuya carefully controlled her pressure so it wouldn’t affect Shuster, supporting him as they walked out of the throng.
After Shuster and Sakuya left, the crowd gradually stood up, digesting the latest revelations:
First, Shuster now had a stunning maid.
Second, Shuster appeared to be seriously injured.
Third, the maid’s strength was at least equal to Shuster’s former self.
Fourth, Shuster was addressed as “young master,” which meant—he’s a man… a man!!!
Fifth, Shuster is actually male!
The next moment, everyone broke down! Some began to wail, some banged their heads against the walls—thankfully, these were luxury villas reinforced with magic arrays—while some dashed off to report to their superiors.
“Sister, the people outside have gone mad!” Somia called from the window, reporting the situation inside.
“Gone mad? …Oh my! We’ll use the back door today,” Catherine decided at once after surveying the chaos outside.
That day, the school issued a collective tardiness notice: at least 300 students were late, with academic penalties of 100 points each.
Soon after, the student-run Campus Gossip Weekly’s “Earth-shattering Secrets” column led with the headline: “Shuster Is Actually a Man!! Let’s Mourn for Our Fellow Males.” The second headline read: “Shuster Returns With a Maid of Equal Strength—Could There Be a Special Relationship Between Them?” The third reported: “Shuster Seriously Injured—Our Academy Loses a Mainstay for the Upcoming Tournament…”
A scene change—
Now for Shuster and Sakuya: the two arrived at the library, completely oblivious that their story had spread throughout the school in just half a day.
“Sakuya, we’re here. Please find me a book on shelf XX, row XX, column XX.” Shuster, supported by Sakuya, sat down and gave his instructions.
“Yes, young master. Here you are!” Sakuya handed him the book. Let’s replay the moment: as soon as Sakuya said “yes,” she stopped time, found the book, returned to her place, and then resumed time, saying “young master.” The timing was flawless, without the faintest hint of interruption.
“Thanks, Sakuya. You should take a look too. This is a method for magic embodiment—come, see for yourself!” Shuster calmly accepted the book from Sakuya and, pulling out a scroll, began to explain.
Thus, the day passed peacefully.
On their way back that evening…
“Young Master Shuster, our captain invites you for tea.” A member of the Black Knights, clad in their uniform, blocked their path.
“Who’s your captain?” Shuster was puzzled. No one had dared block them all the way back, yet just before reaching the villa, someone appeared.
“Er, our captain is Gaoji of the Black Knights.” The man looked distinctly awkward, wiping nonexistent sweat from his brow.
“Gaoji… you mean that BL enthusiast?!” Shuster pondered, then his expression changed dramatically, his body trembling as he darted behind Sakuya, wearing an expression of utter dread.
“Hm? Ah, I absolutely won’t hand over my young master to you lot!” Initially caught off guard by Shuster’s “sudden attack,” Sakuya soon heard the letters “BL” and promptly shielded Shuster behind her.
“Well then, I’ll just have to use force to ‘invite’ Young Master Shuster to our captain’s for tea!” The man drew his sword.
“Hmph, your strength is hardly worth mentioning,” Sakuya sneered at him.
“You…” The man choked, his body suddenly shuddering as a trickle of blood ran down his neck. He knew perfectly well that, had she not held back, he would already be a corpse.
“Let’s go, Sakuya. Don’t make things harder for him,” Shuster said, peeking out from behind her.
“Yes, young master!” Sakuya agreed, sparing the man since he was merely following orders.
Once inside the villa, Shuster was finally free from the countless female gazes. He exhaled and slumped onto the sofa.
“Young master really attracts the ladies!” Sakuya teased.
“Ugh, don’t remind me. I used to be surrounded by guys every day, now it’s nothing but girls. Sakuya, you know my condition—before, at least I could run away!” Shuster glanced at the girls peeking into the villa, clearly feeling immense pressure.
“We’re back!” Somia’s lively voice rang out from outside as Catherine and her group entered.
“Little brother, you’re famous throughout the school today! Here’s the latest Campus Gossip Weekly—take a look!” Catherine handed over a newspaper, grinning mischievously.
“Campus Gossip Weekly, Issue XX, Front Page Shocking Exclusive. First, the goddess Shuster is actually male. Let’s observe a moment of silence for the male population. Second, Shuster returned with a stunning maid—maid enthusiasts, seize the opportunity! Ouch, who hit me? (The author puts away her hammer and writes in the script: in the next chapter, this column’s author will surely die.) Third, rumors swirl about Shuster and his maid—what was said has been censored, but suffice it to say, if not for that abyssal darkness behind them, Shuster and Sakuya would seem quite composed. Fourth, Shuster reportedly suffered severe injuries. Fudanshi and fujoshi, this is your chance—Sakuya crushes a throwing knife in her hand. Fifth, the Black Knights’ captain Gaoji, upon hearing the news, reportedly bellowed and ordered: ‘At all costs, bring Shuster to me—hurry!’… Sakuya, keep reading, I can’t take it anymore, I’m getting dizzy!” Shuster slumped pale and exhausted on the sofa, as if all his energy had been burned away.
“Yes, young master.” Sakuya’s voice trembled as she took the paper.
“Sixth, it’s said that after Student Council President Nina heard Shuster was male, she turned pale and burned out, but upon learning he’d brought back a maid of equal strength, she was instantly revitalized and issued some unknown order to her deputy—let’s wait and see! Sakuya felt her Midnight Slayer bloodline awakening… Young master, I’ll go find the author of this column right away—” The rest was an explosive expletive from Sakuya, known as the Perfect and Dashing Maid, but even that was censored, testament to the column’s devastating power.
“It’s useless, you won’t find them. They’re a thorn even for the principal,” Catherine said helplessly.
“No, for the sake of my and the young master’s reputation, I must drag that person out!” Sakuya looked at the withered Shuster on the sofa and clenched her fist.
“Suit yourself, but I doubt you’ll succeed,” Somia interjected.
“My abilities will leave them nowhere to hide!” Sakuya declared with perfect poise, her charisma infecting everyone around.
“Very well, Sakuya, I’ll count on you!” Shuster sat up to cheer her on.
“Leave it to me, I’ll definitely catch that culprit!” With that, Sakuya activated her time-manipulation ability and vanished.
“So fast!” x3
“Brother, you still haven’t told us what Sakuya’s profession is!” Catherine suddenly remembered they didn’t know Sakuya’s true abilities.
“Ah? I’m not entirely sure—she’s a maid, I think. As for her power, it’s time control,” Shuster replied, scratching his head.
“Time control?!” x3
