The following is the main text.
“Brother!” cried Catherine.
“Shuster!” shouted Amyru, Copper Hammer, and Karvin together.
“Shuster, Brother!” called Somia.
The group hurriedly clambered down from the stands, rushing towards Shuster.
“This mortal body is truly inconvenient. Before I had full control, it managed to use my energy to kill someone,” Jeck’s voice grew majestic, neither masculine nor feminine, his face shrouded in a soft glow, making it impossible to see clearly. His entire body was now clad in pure white armor.
“Hm? This aura is... an Interdimensional Crystal!” The angel spoke and instantly teleported to the academy’s podium.
At the same time, Sakuya teleported to Shuster’s side, administered a healing potion, then turned away to face the wall.
“Cough, damn birdman, this sword forged from condensed light element dealt me a heavy blow,” Shuster coughed up blood as he struggled to his feet.
“Young Master, I suggest we leave this place immediately. There’s not much time left,” Sakuya helped Shuster up and spoke hurriedly.
“Yes, Sakuya, control time and follow behind me, look after Catherine and the others. I’ll make my escape first,” electric arcs flickered across Shuster’s body as he spoke.
“Understood, Young Master. Miss Catherine, quickly gather your people and follow Young Master Shuster. A major disaster is about to occur!” Sakuya responded.
Let us set aside Shuster, who is fleeing, and shift our attention to the angel. The angel, without gender except for special cases such as the radiant angel Ravenel, who is male, took the fist-sized crystal.
“The coordinates are fifty meters above here,” using divine power to probe, the angel discovered the coordinates were five hundred meters above the school. It teleported directly to five hundred meters above the White Emperor.
With a crack, the crystal was crushed. A gigantic spatial rift appeared above the White Emperor.
“Everyone, run! That moronic angel just activated the Interdimensional Crystal!” Seras stood up and shouted using amplification magic.
“Huh? Ah!!!” ×N
Everyone paused in confusion, then screamed and began to flee.
“Hm? This evil aura... damn it, it didn’t release what I wanted, but instead unleashed a horde of evil demons,” the angel’s tone remained unchanged, but its words threw the crowd below into greater chaos. Demons are the most ferocious race on the continent, their creed is destruction, utter destruction, nothing but destruction. During the War of the Gods, the Demon God fought several main gods alone, leaving all gods gravely injured and forced into a long slumber.
Bang! First, a massive fist emerged from the rift, sending the angel flying.
“Damn, this body can’t withstand much divine power. Damn it, I’m about to collapse. I certainly won’t die together with you mortals…” The angel spat blood in midair, muttered to itself, then shuddered, transforming back into the lifeless Jeck.
“Old Pope, ancient crone, we must intervene. That angel was about as strong as me, and was sent flying in an instant. If the three of us attack together, we may be able to suppress it,” Seras said, already floating upward toward the enormous demon crawling out of the sky. The Pope and the principal of Phoenix Dance Academy also ascended, rushing toward the demon.
“We’re in trouble, Young Master. Catherine and the others are separated from us,” Sakuya suddenly appeared beside Shuster.
“Ding dong, A-rank emergency quest: Rescue the Spark Mercenary Corps. If four members die, the quest fails. Reward: three adorable girls. The current target is five hundred meters to the left.”
“What?! These guys really don’t make it easy!” Shuster dashed leftward, though the reward was so outrageous he nearly wanted to complain.
Turning, Shuster saw a demon about ten meters tall, its body covered in scales, four claws each about one and a half meters long, its eyes glowing red, exuding a bloody aura, with two massive horns each two meters long atop its head. It was spewing flames from its mouth onto the ground.
“What? Why is that ten-meter-tall demon blocking my path?” Shuster wondered, for it stood about 450 meters ahead, just as he had run 50 meters.
“Young Master, the aura of that seven-tier peak demon likely means it’s the one threatening Catherine and her companions,” Sakuya explained.
“What?! No! No!” Shuster erupted, suddenly achieving a speed he’d never reached before, crossing five hundred meters in an instant, but…
“Ding dong, A-rank emergency quest ‘Rescue Spark Mercenary Corps’ failed… failed… failed…” He was so close to reaching the destination, but the word “failed” echoed in his ears like a nightmare, repeating endlessly.
“Ah!” In that instant, Shuster let out a guttural roar, unrecognizable as human, emanating from deep within. Black energy coiled around him, ancient power surging forth.
“Roar!” The ten-meter demon was about to finish off the severely injured elven girl when Shuster’s roar and aura startled it, causing it to hesitate and step back. Sakuya took advantage of the moment to rescue Amyru.
“I want you dead! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!” Shuster’s growls grew more incessant. The black energy thickened, solidifying until it formed a pair of black wings on his back. Ancient power filled the air, most of it pressing down on the demon.
“Roar!” The demon seemed to understand Shuster’s words, bellowing in his direction.
“In the name of all the elements of heaven and earth, I summon the thunder from all directions, the power of electricity from the twelve realms to serve me. In blue flames and white light, let lightning combine and sweep away all enemies—the Lightning of Judgment.”
“Restless dust, confused travelers, the earth’s fury, the stars’ call. Evil intent, chaotic rebirth, wild darkness! Appear! In the name of the heavenly thunder, I summon you—the Lightning of Extinction.”
“Unite—Lightning of Judgment upon all beings!” Shuster’s voice grew deep and noble, as if a god above were judging the weak ants below.
“Roar!” The demon faced the incoming black lightning and spat fire in response.
Boom—crack! Lightning and fire collided with a deafening explosion. The lightning broke through the flames and struck the demon.
“Howl!” The demon screamed in pain, its agony making it even more violent. It punched at Shuster fiercely.
Shuster was not to be outdone, meeting the demon’s fist with his own. Their size ratio was about one to six, and then—
Bang! Howl! The demon was sent flying, struck by Shuster’s rampaging fist!
“All the unfortunate creatures in this world, all wicked and fallen souls, follow the purifying light, let worlds merge and return to your original place! Let all become nothingness!”
“Spell fixed, absorb—Finale: Wrath of the Thunder God!” Shuster absorbed the ultimate curse into himself and unleashed the finishing blow.
Crack! A gigantic bolt of lightning descended from the sky, striking Shuster. Instantly, he appeared before the still-falling demon, driving his sword into its abdomen.
Howl! The demon, feeling the danger as the Blood Dance Crescent Moon pierced its body, punched Shuster away.
Shuster flared his wings to dissipate the force, then charged again.
The demon’s abdomen had been entirely dissolved, so one could see straight through its body. Roaring again, it punched at Shuster.
Swish—howl! A flash of lightning, and the demon’s attacking arm was sliced off. Shuster’s sword now radiated lightning, its blade ten meters long.
Shuster used Flash Speed to reach the severed arm, pressing his hand against it. In the next moment, green light flashed, and Shuster’s level soared from advanced seventh tier to peak seventh tier.
Howl! Sensing Shuster’s enhanced aura, the demon grew apprehensive.
In that moment of hesitation, Shuster seized the opportunity. A barrage of lightning enveloped the demon, and wounds appeared everywhere, some as deep as two meters, breaking defenses and leaving pulverizing gashes. Poison and the curse of Blood Dance Crescent Moon weakened the demon further, and as time passed, it grew ever more feeble.
Howl! Realizing it could not escape, the demon resolved to die together with its opponent.
“Don’t even think about it, you mongrel! Thunder God’s Execution!” Sensing the demon’s energy growing chaotic, Shuster instantly realized it intended to self-destruct. He pulled out Paradise Spark and aimed it—
Bang! A single shot, straight to the soul…
