"My physical strength is probably insufficient!"
"I can endure a maximum of three particle strikes at the minimum output level—that is, 3276.8."
Bai Yuxi furrowed his brow, shook his head, and sighed, "If the number of particle strikes increases beyond that, I'm afraid it will start to damage my body..."
"Hey, hey!"
"Bai, what are you talking about?"
"This is really not the time to be distracted."
Willie, utterly bewildered, nervously kept his eyes on the gathering swarm of plasma toads and carefully reminded Bai Yuxi, "Those frogs seem to be preparing something big! While they’re still motionless, let’s get out of here, quick!"
"With an output above three thousand, I can crush an F3-1600-level super warrior."
"But it doesn’t threaten those of even higher combat levels. It seems this ‘super-limit combat technique’ is still far from perfect."
"What if I reduced the minimum output to one ten-thousandth, or even one hundred-thousandth?"
"And increased the number of particle strikes even further? Would that lessen the strain on my body?"
"Three strikes at one ten-thousandth yield 327.68°, and nine strikes reach 20971.52°..."
Oblivious to Willie’s warnings, Bai Yuxi was wholly absorbed in his own thoughts. "Is nine particle strikes the limit, then?"
"What about eighteen strikes, or twenty-seven? With my current physical strength, how many strikes at one ten-thousandth could I withstand? And at one hundred-thousandth?"
"Or perhaps, instead of increasing the number of strikes, I could increase the number of particles per strike?"
"Change 1×2 to 1×4, 1×8?"
"But increasing the number of particles makes energy micro-manipulation exponentially more difficult; right now, I don’t think I can manage it..."

"Must I attempt particle-level control?"
"1°X energy equals 1000 particle units, essentially 1000 X particles."
Bai Yuxi’s brow grew more deeply creased. "With micro-level energy manipulation, plus increasing the number of particles per strike and the total strikes..."
"If it’s 0.001×4, ×9, that’s 262.144; if it’s 0.001×8, ×9, that’s 134217.728... Wait, this seems possible?"
"Unfortunately, there isn’t enough combat data to calculate, and in battle, micro-level precision is out of reach."
He lamented, "Unless I can standardize the output levels, simplify calculations during combat, it looks like I still need..."
"Bai! Big Brother Bai! Master Bai! I’ll call you grandfather if you want!"
Willie, seeing the restlessly swelling mass of plasma toads, his plasma glands behind his ears lighting up for another charge, was nearly beside himself with terror.
Afraid to touch Bai Yuxi, his hands still swollen, he could only cry out, "Those frogs are about to unleash something huge! If you don’t run, I’m running, and don’t blame me for abandoning you!"
Are all these "brain-boosted" people mad?
At a time like this, he’s still conducting scientific research?
And without even acknowledging anyone else—what kind of problem is this?
Bai Yuxi was startled from his reverie by Willie’s desperate cries. He saw, to his shock, that the plasma toads had, at some point, wriggled into a massive heap—a mound of frogs, numbering in the thousands at least!
The nauseating sight made Bai Yuxi recoil, not out of fear, but simply because the scene was so revolting!
Yet the moment he moved, his instinctive retreat triggered the plasma toads’ attack!
This time, however, the toads didn’t spit plasma balls. Instead, their bodies were shrouded in crackling electricity, each leaping toward him like a flashing shell, their speed and attack power suddenly vastly increased!
As he retreated, Bai Yuxi instinctively punched one away from his face. In that moment, all the airborne toads lit up at once, massive currents converging instantly onto the one he struck!

A flash of lightning, a deafening crack, and Bai Yuxi was blasted away by a tremendous current, taking Willie—who had cowered behind him—with him!
As soon as he hit the ground, Bai Yuxi rolled and sprang to his feet, his robust super-active shield protecting him; aside from the numbness in his arm from contact with the toad, he suffered no major injury.
Willie, however, was not so fortunate. Not only did Bai Yuxi nearly knock him senseless, but all the currents unable to penetrate Bai Yuxi’s shield ended up on Willie instead. His shield collapsed instantly, and he spasmed uncontrollably, foaming at the mouth before passing out!
Alarmed, Bai Yuxi grabbed the convulsing foreigner and flung him far from the fray.
Willie landed like a ragdoll, rolling amidst a cloud of dust, but at least he was now out of the plasma toads’ attack range, safe for the moment.
Only after suffering this setback did Bai Yuxi notice that the area was now saturated with electrically charged particles forming a static field!
Meanwhile, the plasma toads, their combat style transformed, all crackled with arcs of electricity, like living electrodes weaving an immense electric net. Any contact with a single toad was, in effect, a confrontation with the entire swarm.
A lone plasma toad was weak, its internal energy negligible, but what about ten, a hundred, or a thousand combined?
Even a thousand No. 7 dry batteries connected in series could kill a man, let alone a thousand plasma toads, each possessing X energy of 10 to 30°.
Bai Yuxi, never expecting these mutated creatures to possess such collective combat ability, dodged frantically from the swarming toads, not daring to make direct contact, yet the sheer numbers made evasion nearly impossible.
Electric arcs crackled all around him, engulfing him in bursts of blinding light, and his super-active energy rapidly depleted with each contact—now barely half its peak!
Desperate, Bai Yuxi gave in to brute instinct. Since he couldn’t dodge, he’d stop trying.
Ignoring the imperfections in his super-limit combat system, he let out a roar and threw a heavy punch!
One hundred-thousandth output, nine particle strikes stacked, ninefold diffusion range!
Boom!
As Bai Yuxi’s fist connected with the charging plasma toad, it was as if he shattered the very fabric of space—a circular area collapsed inward, then collapsed again, and again, three times in succession...
