Chapter 134: Who is Mad for Love?

Cassiopeia pulled a long face and said, "God says, you must carry out this matter, whether you understand it or not."

Andromeda grew somewhat indignant. With a sneer, she retorted, "It seems you and Zeus’s family have managed to maintain quite a close relationship, hmph."

This remark was somewhat disrespectful.

Back when Andromeda was sold out by her parents, it was due to the bullying and oppression of Poseidon, the elder brother of the god Zeus. Hera, the sister of Poseidon, was the legitimate wife of Zeus.

Even though Poseidon oppressed Andromeda’s family, Zeus never made a statement, seemingly pretending to be unaware. Thus, Andromeda held no affection for either Zeus or Hera.

Good heavens, that was the very family that was their enemy.

Yet, her unreliable and shameless mother was actually acting as their messenger, as if it were a glorious task. This drove Andromeda to the brink of fury.

Cassiopeia’s lips twitched involuntarily. She knew her daughter’s resentment, but she dared not push Andromeda too far. It wasn't that she lacked the courage, but her son-in-law, Perseus, was a real piece of work. The damn brat actually dared to threaten his own mother-in-law.

Therefore, Cassiopeia smiled indifferently and said, "Suit yourself. I’ve delivered the message. If you don't comply and Zeus holds you accountable, you’d better consider whether you can withstand the wrath of God."

With that, Cassiopeia turned and left.

Watching her mother’s retreating figure, Little Su trembled all over, repeating, "How could she do this? How could she?"

Andromeda suddenly felt weak and in need of something to lean on; she collapsed into Little Su’s arms and began to sob. Little Su patted Andromeda’s back to comfort her, saying, "Don't cry, don't cry. Look, your eyes are all puffy like goldfish bubbles..."

Once Andromeda had cried her fill, the two began to puzzle over Zeus’s strange decree. However, lacking political wisdom, they couldn’t make heads or tails of it, so they simply stopped trying.

Andromeda said, "I have to go back. I’ll just hurry up and approve the applications for the surrounding constellations and star regions; let things be whatever they will be."

Seeing the situation, Little Su stopped worrying about whether the Ancestor of Thunder knew about this. Since everyone had somewhere to go, forming a group became secondary. She figured that everyone probably didn't want to be bundled together anyway, so she let it be.

After Andromeda took her leave, Little Su remembered the little Heavenly King from Mount Sumeru. Although she felt tired, she couldn't ignore him, so she had a celestial maiden notify him that she would grant an audience to Tu Zhe.

Tu Zhe arrived at Little Su’s palace carrying his puppy. The moment the puppy saw Little Su, it shouted, "Oh yeah! Such a beautiful, beautiful lady! Hey, Rogue Brother, don't you want to hit on her?"

Tu Zhe slapped the puppy’s bottom in reprimand and said, "Puppy, what are you spouting? This is a diplomatic occasion; have some decorum, will you?"

The puppy tilted its head and stared into Tu Zhe’s eyes for a long time, making him feel uneasy. "Why do you keep looking at my eyes?"

The puppy replied, "I'm just seeing if there’s any color in your eyes, hee hee..."

Tu Zhe felt a headache coming on. He ignored the creature and quickly paid his respects to Little Su. "Tu Zhe, Heavenly King of Mount Sumeru, has come to visit the Wall Mansion. I hope our conversation will promote friendship and exchange between Mount Sumeru and the Wall Mansion."

Little Su, representing the North Pole, expressed her welcome to the Heavenly King of Mount Sumeru and hoped that Tu Zhe would take the time to look around, trusting that the beautiful scenery of the Wall Mansion would leave him with fond memories.

They exchanged a basketful of empty pleasantries and polite nonsense until there was nothing left to say.

Finally, the two sides reached the main topic.

Tu Zhe requested that Little Su open the library so he could spend time reading. Little Su had previously assumed Tu Zhe was a lecherous man because he had been fooling around with Cassiopeia, so she hadn't liked him. Now that he asked to read books, he seemed much more agreeable. However, she found it strange—was he truly here to read?

Thinking it, she couldn't help but blurt out, "Little Heavenly King, is it really just to read? Not for... something else?"

Little Su suspected that Tu Zhe might also be after the Heavenly Spring. In reality, Tu Zhe still knew nothing about the Heavenly Spring.

Tu Zhe was momentarily stunned. "Celestial, what do you mean...?"

Seeing that Tu Zhe didn't seem to be faking it, Little Su said, "Nothing. I just meant that if you want to read, we have plenty of books here. Read whatever you like. Cultural exchange is an activity we can certainly conduct in the long term, right?"

Tu Zhe thought to himself, *Don't pretend. Your little act is far inferior to the skills of the "Gentlemen" of my past life—those men who could talk about anything while looking everywhere but the point.*

*When they spoke nonsense, they did it with absolute gravity and solemnity. Can you do that? You blush when you tell a lie; you are truly not suited for diplomacy, haha.*

The puppy chimed in, "Rogue Brother, the beauty is saying, aren't you here to hit on her? Hee hee..."

Little Su looked at the puppy, and the puppy stuck out its tiny, bright red tongue, looking incredibly adorable. Little Su, who had been slightly annoyed, softened her heart immediately. She smiled and said, "Little Heavenly King, your pet is quite interesting, isn't it?"

The puppy waved its little paw in protest. "I'm not a pet! I'm Rogue Brother’s little sister—"

Little Su looked at Tu Zhe, puzzled.

Tu Zhe nodded solemnly and said, "What the puppy says is true. It is my kin, not my pet."

Little Su gasped and leaned back in her chair, observing the puppy with astonishment, as if trying to discern what was so extraordinary about it.

The puppy whispered into Tu Zhe’s ear, "Rogue Brother, did you notice? This little flirt’s eyes are so... clear, so... pure. If you really want to hit on someone, hit on her. I have no objections to this one, hee hee..."

*Tsk!*

*What am I supposed to do with you? You call her clear and pure, and then call her a "little flirt" in the same breath. Can you be any more inconsistent?*

Tu Zhe glared at the puppy and slowly began to tell Little Su the story between him and the creature.

When she heard how the puppy had flown into the void without a second thought, risking everything to stop the Great Dragon Elephant King’s Vajra-energy palm from killing Tu Zhe, Little Su could no longer maintain her composure. With tears in her eyes, she reached out her hands and pleaded with Tu Zhe, "May I hold her?"

The puppy immediately hugged Tu Zhe’s neck and looked back at Little Su. "No holding, no holding! If you want to hold me, you have to be Rogue Brother’s girlfriend..."

The puppy’s words made both of them blush to the roots of their hair. Little Su said, "Your 'Rogue Brother'... pfft... why do you call your brother that? Is he really such a rogue?"

The puppy tilted its little head proudly and said, "You don't know the level of my Rogue Brother’s roguery; it’s a true realm, you know. You know the greatest beauties of the Three Realms? You know the demonesses of Desire, Pleasure, and Greed? My Rogue Brother didn't move a muscle for them. Wouldn't you say he’s a rogue of high standing?"

Tu Zhe rubbed his nose and thought to himself, *Puppy, the way you put it... how do you know I wasn't tempted? The problem is... was I really tempted?*

The beautiful face of the Consort of the Joyful Heavens flashed before Tu Zhe’s eyes, but he shook his head, chasing her image away.

*Damn it, a guy like me can't be the "other man," can I?!*
